Tampa-Family-Law-Attorney-mindi-lasley

Mindi Lasley is one of Tampa Bay’s most experienced family law attorneys, with over two decades of litigation experience and a reputation for honest, aggressive advocacy. She founded Mindi Lasley, P.A. in 2005 after honing her trial skills as an Assistant State Attorney with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office — where she prosecuted juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony matters, including DUIs — and has taken more than 100 cases to trial.

“I believe in handling cases effectively and honestly, carefully guiding clients through each step of their case.”

Ms. Lasley holds both her undergraduate degree and her J.D. from Florida State University, where she graduated cum laude and served as President of the International Law Society. She also studied law at Oxford University’s Faculty of Law. She has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2003 and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

A trained collaborative practitioner, Ms. Lasley works across the full spectrum of family law — from high-asset contested divorces to uncontested matters, child custody and parenting plans, child support, alimony, prenuptial agreements, post-judgment modifications, and appellate matters. She serves clients throughout Hillsborough County and the broader Tampa Bay area, including Pinellas County, Brandon, Riverview, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg.

Ms. Lasley has lectured at Stetson University College of Law and regularly teaches Continuing Legal Education courses to Florida attorneys on behalf of the Florida Bar. Outside the office, she travels extensively, sails, SCUBA dives, and is an avid football fan.
